Pastor Holley addresses the arrival of a new millennium. He mentions that, although technology is advancing and the world is changing, Christ is and always will be changeless. He encourages the church to have “expectant hope” so they can look forward with confidence and expectation of the fulfillment of promises made by God.
Expectant Hope
This section stresses to live in expectant hope that God will do what he promises. It says when god brings a time of waiting you should use this time learning to receive him rather than “achieving our way out of life circumstances”. Emphasized is, quietly waiting on god will give a person assurance. The last half of the page is dedicated to a directory of numbers that provides spiritual service dealing with everything from depression, fear and anger to comfort, and encouragement.
