To Our Pastor….
We pause today to let you know that we, the members of the Little Rock Baptist Church are profoundly grateful for the wonderful leadership that you have given this church in the four years you have been with us.
Certainly we could not have succeeded as we have had it not been for your determination “To do God’s will and To Serve This Present Age.”
Your faith in God, your care for humanity, and your daily precepts and prayers have endeared you to our hearts. Your constant teaching on the relevance of Christian Education and making God’s Word practical in our everyday life is not going unheeded. We would like to think of you as Solomon…he, too, asked for wisdom and Knowledge as well as Understanding before he started building and he, too, led his people in love and peace for he kept faith in God and God in front.
We will never forget the many sacrifices you have made and are continuing to make. Although we can never repay you in monetary value for them, we want you to know that we are firmly behind you in your constant struggle for higher goals.
Often times, you may be faced with opposition, you will be misunderstood, and you may be the object of ridicule but through it all, we want you to know that there are many of us who are praying constantly for you and have faith in your leadership and are grateful to the Lord for sending us such a leader as you.
We join in a unified prayer that God will give you strength, perseverance, and courage to continue the work that the Lord has sent you to do.
May God ever bless and keep you!

To Our Pastor’s Wife……
“Behind every great man there is a great woman”. We certainly must agree for we feel that as our Pastor’s wife, you epitomise [sic] this adage. Yours is not an easy role but your kindness and gentle spirit is reflected in a quiet and unassuming manner.
We, the members, appreciate you in different ways. We feel that God place you along side your husband to further inspire him and to give him encouragement to be a greater leader and to do the work of the Lord.
You have set an example as a model for the youth and young adults….for this we thank you. Your pleasant manner and your warm smile depicts the simplicity of your attitude and devotion to all who know and come in contact with you.
We pause today to salute you also. We ask God’s blessing upon you and pray that he will continue to bestow on you the wisdom and knowledge that will enable you to stand at Pastor Holley’s side as a pillar of strength.
