Little Rock Baptist Church
9000 Woodward Avenue
Detroit, MI 48202
Dear Dr. Holley:
It is my pleasure to join with the State Historic Preservation Review Board in informing you that the Central Woodward Christian Church (Little Rock Baptist Church) has recently been entered in the National Register of Historic Places. The Central Woodward Christian Church (Little Rock Baptist Church) was nominated for listing in the National Register because of the Michigan History Division of the Department of State and the State Historic Preservation Review Board believed it to be a site of outstanding historical and architectural significance. It was formally accepted for registration by the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, on August 3, 1982.
Our office has appreciated the opportunity to work with you on the designation of this site. We hope that you will contact us if there is anything we can do to assist you in the future.
Sincerely,
Martha M. Bigelow, Director
Michigan HIstory Division
and
State Historic Preservation Officer
